Reporting directly to the managing partners, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the business on a daily basis. Integrity, proactivity, excellent communication skills and detail-orientation will be the key to success in this role.
• Work closely with the managing partners to identify, measure and interpret business KPIs
• Proactively assess the processes underlying the business and continually aim to improve them
• Ensure the effectiveness of current processes by training and working closely with relevant team members
• Work closely with the management team on resource planning, helping identify how to ensure that all projects are tackled by the most appropriate team
• Manage the company’s client reporting and invoicing process, ensuring that we are communicating our activities effectively with clients
• Help to ensure compliance with the business’s security protocols,ensuring the safety of our clients’ data
• Previous relevant working experience of at least 4 years, preferably in software development
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree from a high quality university is a plus

The right candidate will work with stakeholders to guide the development of mobile/web apps from conception to launch, understanding our clients’ commercial aims and developing those aims into a robust technical plan of action. It is a junior role which will involve close collaboration with, and mentorship from, Old.St’s Product Managers. With their guidance, you will learn the skills required to lead the end-to-end creation of a digital product.
• Work with Product Managers and the design team to develop creative solutions to client’s commercial aims
