It depends on what you want to build. Engagements range from around £10,000 for smaller focused projects up to £100,000 and beyond for larger or multi-phase programmes. We quote on a fixed-price or hourly basis, whichever fits the project, and work with UK and US clients. If scope changes mid-project, you see the change and the cost before it happens.

A working prototype typically takes days. A production-ready first version usually takes 8 to 12 weeks, and larger platforms with complex integrations take longer. The biggest variable is not the technology, it's how many features and integrations you want in the first release. We'll give you a realistic timeline during scoping rather than a hopeful one.

Often off-the-shelf is the right answer, and we'll tell you so. Custom software makes sense when you're paying for features you don't use, working around the ones you need, or watching licence fees climb as you grow. We'll look at what you pay now and what a build would cost before recommending one.

Yes, and we do it regularly, from products built on Lovable, Replit, Cursor etc. to older custom systems nobody left in the business understands. The starting point is an audit of what condition the code is in, then a clear plan for what to keep, improve and rebuild. We're honest if a fresh start is faster than the rescue.

Yes. We start by looking at where AI would save your team time or improve what your customers get, then build it into the system you already run. Sometimes the right answer is that it isn't worth it yet, and we'll say so.

You do. All code, designs and intellectual property created in your engagement transfer to you in full on payment. Your product runs in a cloud account in your name, and you have the code and documentation whenever you want them. We don't retain rights, licence the work back to you, or build in dependencies you can't extract.

For most clients, launch is the start of a longer innovation partnership. We keep evolving the product based on what real users tell you, build new features, and apply new AI capabilities as they become available. Several of our client relationships are now four to five years long.
