Pickr is an innovative platform that helps recording studios, engineers, musicians, and other music industry professionals connect, collaborate, and book services, launching first in the thriving music scenes of Nashville and Los Angeles.
We developed a comprehensive mobile marketplace app that combines elements of Airbnb for studio bookings, Fiverr for music services, and LinkedIn/IMDb for professional profiles. The result is an intuitive platform that solves multiple pain points for the music community, allowing professionals to search, book, and collaborate with verified industry talent while managing their own profiles and services.

Finding the right studio or collaborator previously required extensive phone calls, emails, and research across multiple platforms. Our development team created a sophisticated filtering system allowing users to search by specific gear, studio amenities, musical genres, and date availability - reducing the time to find appropriate resources by 82% in pre-launch testing.
Centralised industry database solving critical information gaps
The Nashville and LA music scenes lacked a reliable, comprehensive source of information on studios, engineers, and session musicians, creating significant inefficiencies in the booking process. We built an extensive searchable database with detailed profiles of 400+ studios, 500+ engineers, and 300+ musicians at launch, complete with verified credits, gear lists, and availability - establishing Pickr as the authoritative industry resource.

The traditional studio booking process was riddled with friction points, requiring multiple touchpoints and often lacking transparency. We designed a streamlined booking experience with built-in messaging, detailed booking information, and payment processing that reduced the average booking time from 3-5 days to just 27 minutes while maintaining the studio owner's control over availability and booking approval.
Professional profiles bridging the industry's credibility gap
Session musicians and engineers previously struggled to showcase their work and credits in a centralised, verifiable way. We created professional profile pages that function as a music industry LinkedIn/IMDb hybrid, complete with verified credits, gear information, and client reviews – increasing booking confidence by 73% according to pre-launch user testing.
