Mobile app design and development for a period tracking and sustainability-focused menstrual platform.
Asan is a social enterprise dedicated to tackling period poverty and reducing the environmental impact of disposable menstrual products. Their high-quality menstrual cups provide a safe, sustainable alternative, making period care more accessible and eco-friendly.

We designed and developed the Asan Period Tracker with an all-women team spanning design, project management, development, and QA. The app empowers users with accurate period tracking while promoting sustainable menstrual health, providing meaningful insights into cycle patterns, tracking environmental impact, and guiding users toward informed decisions about their well-being.

Empowering Users with Smart Period Tracking
The app allows users to log their symptoms, moods, flow, and period product usage while offering accurate predictions to help them stay informed about their cycle.
Tracking Environmental Impact for Sustainable Periods
A dedicated tracker helps users measure their positive impact by switching to reusable period products, showing emissions saved, waste reduction, and cost savings.
Data-Driven Insights for Better Menstrual Health Awareness
The app provides users with personalized insights into their cycle trends based on logged data, helping them make informed decisions about their menstrual health and well-being.

“While women are (relatively) well represented among product managers and designers, female software development teams are much harder to come by.  I interviewed many agencies before I came across Old.St Labs — not only did their team of female engineers perfectly reflect our user base, they also happened to be the best developers I could find!”
